How to Make a Giant Reese's Peanut Butter Cup

So you think you love the amazing combination of chocolate and peanut butter as much as I do?  I don't think so!

But even if you just like the combination, you may just want to try to make this delicious treat:

It was very easy to make and extremely fun to eat.  I have uploaded a video on my YouTube channel detailing how to make this Giant Reese's Cup at:  http://youtu.be/Z-iL2Be05T8

Things you will need:
  1. Tart Pan
  2. Chocolate (46 ounces)
  3. Peanut Butter (2 cups)
  4. Confectionary Sugar or Sugar if you prefer (1 cup)
  5. Double Boiler or you can use Microwave
  6. Brush
  7. Mixer or do it by hand
  8. Parchment paper
Step 1.
  • Melt half the chocolate
Step 2.
  • Pour melted chocolate on your tart pan lined with parchment paper
Step 3
  • Freeze or refrigerate for  at least 30 minutes.
Step 4
  • Mix peanut butter and confectionary sugar until well combined
Step 5
  • Spread peanut butter mixture on cooled chocolate
Step 6
  • Freeze or refrigerate for another 30 minutes
Step 7
  • Melt remaining chocolate
Step 8
  • Pour melted chocolate to cover the peanut butter mixture then refrigerate.
Step 9
  • Cut like a pie and enjoy with friends and family

Hint:  Use Hershey's chocolate to make the taste more like an actual Reese's Cup.  Also, I found that Sugar has a better texture for the peanut butter mixture than confectionary sugar.
