CHEESE AND PEPPERONI FILLED CRESCENTS (APPETIZER)

Want a fun and easy snack idea for an appetizer or after school snack?  Forget about those prepackaged snacks that are filled with preservatives and other less than fresh ingredients.  Make your own delicious snacks from scratch.

Things you will need:

  • 1 package of Crescents
  • Mozzarella Cheese
  • Pepperonis
Directions:

Start off by either making your crescents or using a roll of crescents already made.  Cut the crescents into eight equal pieces.  Fill each piece with the desired amount of cheese and pepperoni. Fold and roll the crescent up.  Make sure to pinch the ends of the crescent so that the cheese doesn’t escape during cooking.  Place on a greased baking sheet.  Heat in over on 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes.  When golden brown, remove from oven and let stand for 2-5 minutes before serving.  Careful, the cheese will be hot when biting into the crescents!

Note:  Some people choose to use bacon instead of pepperoni.  This is your choice.  I like to make these sometimes with just cheese.  Either way, they are delicious!  Enjoy!
