Pizza is one of those foods that everyone loves. Whether you prefer pepperoni, cheese or vegetarian pizza, there is a pizza for everyone’s taste. When I was young, we only had pizza on weekends or special occasions. I even remember getting a monthly schedule of school lunches and circling on the calendar the days that pizza will be served. Now it has become more common to have pizza on a regular basis.
Since we all want pizza more often I decided to make this recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 package of seamless crescents
- 1 can of tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup Romano cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- 5 pepperonis chopped
- 1 egg
Directions:
- Start by rolling out the crescents on parchment paper. Add the tomato sauce and spread evenly keeping it about an inch from the edges. Add cheese and pepperoni. Be sure not to add too much cheese or it will be to hard to roll up.
- Roll up the crescents using the parchment paper to help. Cut into 1 inch pieces and place on a baking sheet. (you could refrigerate the roll before cutting to make it easier to cut.)
- Mix egg with a bit of water and whisk. Brush on each cut piece and bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
I hope you enjoyed this recipe and decide to make it for yourself.
