Butterfinger Peanut Butter Pie

Butterfinger Peanut Butter Pie

Butterfinger Peanut Butter Pie

See how to make this homemade Butterfinger peanut butter pie.  If you are a fan of peanut butter and Butterfinger candy bars you will love this pie recipe.  Made by using chopped Butterfinger candy bars and Nutter Butter cookies as the crust, this pie will wow the taste buds of anyone who is lucky enough to taste it.

Process

To make this recipe you can choose to use Nutter Butter cookies as the crust like I did or you can use any cookie or graham crackers instead.  I have seen this made using Oreo cookies and it looked amazing.  Depending on the size of your pie pan and how thick you want your crust you will only need about 15-20 cookie.  I used 20 Nutter Butters and I added some chocolate jimmies for added color.

The pie filling itself is quite simple.  Consisting of a whipped topping, peanut butter, and sweetened condensed milk this pie filling is very sweet.  It can be made using already prepared whipped topping like Cool Whip but if you do this you will need more than the 1 cup.  My recipe uses 2 cups of heavy whipping cream which is whisked up to about double in size.  Folding in the sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter adds that beautiful color.  Be sure to chop up some Butterfinger candy bars to fold into the pie filling.  This will really take your pie to the next level.

Don't forget to top the pie with more chopped Butterfingers before freezing.  You may need to defrost the pie a few minutes before cutting and serving.
