How to Make Rice Crust Pizza!
See how to make this delicious rice crust pizza. Pizza is one of those recipes enjoyed by many. Unfortunately, some people can’t eat pizza because of the gluten in the dough. I was able to make a pizza recipe using rice as the crust so that those on a gluten free diet can enjoy pizza too.
Here is what you will need to make this pizza.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 cup mozzarella
- 1/2 cup parmesan
Directions:
- Start with a medium pot and add water and rice. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer for 15-20 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Drain rice.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked rice, egg, mozzarella and parmesan.
- Grease a 12 inch pizza pan and press rice mixture evenly around it.
- Cook the rice crust only for 4-6 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top with your favorite toppings and cook for 8-12 minutes until cheese is melted to your liking.
