Easter is just around the corner and nothing says "Easter" like Peeps. If you aren’t familiar with Peeps, they are small marshmallow like treats shaped like chicks or bunnies’s and are coated with a fine color sugar. These treats are in almost every store in America this time of the year.
Easter also gets people thinking about summertime. It’s the time of the year that people start thinking about their summer clothes shopping. Stores have flower dresses, shorts and tee shirts on the racks.
With thoughts of summertime in the air, there is no better time to introduce Easter s’mores. S’Mores made using Peeps are the perfect combination. Easy and fun, these treats will get the family talking. No campfire needed. Just use your stove.
Ingredients:
Gram crackers
Chocolate bars
Break chocolate bars in half and place half of the bar on one side of the gram cracker.
Insert a wooden skewer through one Peep.
Hold over an open flame for about 5-10 seconds.
Place Peep on the chocolate between 2 pieces of gram craker.
Smash together and pull out wooden skewer.
