Birds Nest Haystack

There are many fun snacks and treats that people make for Easter. One treat that I find both fun to make and tasty to eat are…haystacks. These haystacks can be made in many different ways using many different ingredients.

I used peanut butter and butterscotch to make these but some people use chocolate. These take very little skill to make and can be done in a matter of minutes.

Here is what you will need:
½ cup of creamy peanut butter
2 cups of chow mien noodles
1 cup of butterscotch morsels
mini Cadbury eggs
wax paper
Directions:
    1. In a double boiler melt butterscotch morsels and peanut butter.
    2. Add chow mien noodles and mix well.
    3. let cool for 2-5 minutes
    4. Dish out about 2 tablespoons onto wax paper in a circular stack.
    5. Place 1-2 mini Cadbury eggs on top of each stack.
    6. Let cool completely and serve.

I hope you enjoyed this recipe. As always you can see how I made these by clicking here:
