Movie night just got better! Everyone loves popcorn when watching a movie but if you are in the mood for something sweet instead of something salty, then why not make these popcorn cupcakes?
Ingredients:
- 1 packages of cupcake/cake mix (plus ingredients package calls for)
- 1 package of small marshmallows
- Edible yellow dust
- Buttercream frosting
- Ivory food coloring
- red/white stripped paper
Directions:
- Start by making cupcakes and let cool.
- Prepare marshmallows by cutting each one in half and re-joining them together at odd angles.
- Cover cupcakes with buttercream frosting
- Place prepared marshmallows on top of frosting covering completely.
- Using a clean paint brush, brush on a light coating of edible dust across some of the marshmallows
- Using the blunt end of the clean paint brush, place a small amount of food coloring in-between a few marshmallows on each cupcakes.
- Cut a red and white stripped paper to wrap around the cupcakes to make look like a popcorn bag.
That’s it! Now serve to your friends and family on your next movie night. Everyone will be amazed on how much the marshmallows look just like popcorn.
