One of my favorite dishes to eat is a taco ring. That is where you take crescents and shape them in a circular shape on a baking sheet and fill it with taco meat. I even made the taco ring recipe on my FunFoods Youtube Channel. While I love this dish, I wanted something a little different the other night. I wanted Italian food. After giving it some thought, I decided I could make a meatball sub ring.
Now this is a great dish to make for dinner but it also can be used as an appetizer for a snack for a party. All your guests will love having something different.
Ingredients:
- 2 packages Crescents rolls
- pasta sauce
- pre-cooked meatballs
- parmesan cheese
- mozzarella cheese
Jumbo Baking Sheet: http://amzn.to/2fSCbXk
Directions:
- Start by opening the packages of crescent rolls. Spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray. Separate and arrange them around the baking sheet in a circular pattern.
- Apply pasta sauce around the crescents on the inner most part. Add meatballs on top of the sauce. Top with cheese of your choice. (Optional: Add more layers of sauce and cheese)
- Fold the tapered ends of the crescents over the meatballs and press in to the inner part of the circle.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool then serve.
