Mini Cinnamon Apple Pies

It’s apple season here and everyone loves apple pie.  The other day I was in the mood for apple pie but didn't want to go through the long process of making a full size apple pie.  So I decided to make a few mini apple pies.

These were easy to make and I didn't have to go through the process of making my own homemade pie crust.

Ingredients:
     - 1 package of crescent rolls
     - 1 Granny Smith Apple
     - 1 cup brown sugar
     - 2 tablespoons cinnamon
     - 4 tablespoons melted butter

Apple slicer: http://amzn.to/2eH9wqj

Directions:
  1. Start by opening and separating the crescent rolls.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  3. Spread about 2 tablespoons worth of the mixture on each crescent.
  4. Cut the apple into 8 slices and place 1 slice at the base of each crescent.  Roll up the crescent.
  5. Top with butter and sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
  6. Bake for 16 minutes at 350 degrees.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes and serve.
