It’s apple season here and everyone loves apple pie. The other day I was in the mood for apple pie but didn't want to go through the long process of making a full size apple pie. So I decided to make a few mini apple pies.
These were easy to make and I didn't have to go through the process of making my own homemade pie crust.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of crescent rolls
- 1 Granny Smith Apple
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
Apple slicer: http://amzn.to/2eH9wqj
Directions:
- Start by opening and separating the crescent rolls.
- In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.
- Spread about 2 tablespoons worth of the mixture on each crescent.
- Cut the apple into 8 slices and place 1 slice at the base of each crescent. Roll up the crescent.
- Top with butter and sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
- Bake for 16 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Let cool for 5 minutes and serve.
