Reese's Rice Krispies

Rice Krispies can be made in many different ways and can have lots of flavor choices too.  I love Rice Krispie treats.  When I saw this recipe from “Oh Sweet Basil” on Pinterest, I just knew I had to try it.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 cup of Corn Syrup
  • 6 cups of Rice Krispie cereal
  • ½ cup chocolate chips
  • 6 Reese’s PB cups

Directions:

Start with a large saucepan on medium heat.  Add Peanut butter, sugar, corn syrup and mix until creamy (about 5 minutes).  Add salt.  Turn off heat and mix in Rice Krispie cereal.  Then mix in chocolate chips.  Cut each Reese’s Peanut Butter cup into quarters.  Scoop out Rice Krispies in tablespoon sizes and place 1 quarter Reese’s cup into center and fold in.  Then place on wax paper to cool.  Allow to cool for at least 10-15 minutes before serving.

As always you can see how I made these here:
