Easter Basket Cupcakes

Spring is in the air and Easter is just around the corner. It’s time to make some fun Easter creations that your whole family will love. Making desserts look like Easter baskets are a fun way to turn your desserts into fun snacks.

Things you will need to make these are:
 Cake mix
 Ice cream cones
 Icing
 Shredded coconut
 Green food coloring
 Foil
 Mini Reese’s eggs or jelly beans
 Pull-n-peel Twizzlers
 Plastic bag
 1 tablespoon water

Directions:
1. Start by preparing your cake mix according to its instructions. 2. Prepare a muffin tin by lining it with foil then puncturing a small hole over each muffin spot.
3. Place one ice cream cone in each hole.
4. Fill each cone half way with cake mix
5. Bake for 18-20 minutes at 350 degrees
6. Put water and a couple drops of food coloring in a plastic bag add coconut and mix well.
7. When cupcakes are done, let cool then apply icing.
8. Place a small amount of colored coconut on each cupcake
9. Pull apart twizzlers into about 3 inch strands
10. Insert one end of the twizzler into the top of one side of the cupcake and the other end into the top of the other end of the cupcake.
11. Place a couple of mini Reese’s eggs or jelly beans on top of each cupcake.
