I was recently invited to a Jello shots party by a family member. Of course since my family knows that I make desserts all the time for my Blog and my other social media sites, they were expecting something a bit more advanced than simply Jello shots.
I didn’t disappoint them. I spent my Saturday morning making this recipe as well as another recipe to bring with me to the party.
A big hit at the party was my Fireball Whiskey Cheesecake Shots.
Here is what you will need to make these:
Ingredients:
- 9 graham crackers
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2- 8oz packs of softened cream cheese
- 1/4 cup confectionary sugar
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/3 cup Fireball Whiskey
- 1 can of cherry pie filling
- 1/3 cup Fireball Whiskey
- Maraschino cherries (optional for decorative look)
Directions:
- Start by crushing the graham crackers into little bits. Melt butter and mix in the crushed graham crackers. Fill the bottom of the shot glasses with about an inch of contents.
- In a large bowl, add cream cheese, confectionary sugar, heavy cream and whiskey. Mix until well combined and thick.
- Place cheesecake filling into a piping bag and pipe into the shot glasses already filled with graham crackers.
- In a separate bowl, add cherry pie filling and Fireball whiskey. Mix well.
- Top the shot glasses off with cherry filling on top of the cheesecake. Decorate with Maraschino cherries if desired.
I hope you enjoy this recipe.
