Christmas Oreo Truffles

There is no better way to celebrate Christmas than with Oreo truffles.  I absolutely love Oreo truffles so I decided to make a Christmas recipe using them.  Making these snowman and ornament truffles was fun.

Both of these creations were fun to make.  Whether you fell like making snowmen or ornaments either way they will taste amazing.

Ingredients:
     - 30 Oreo cookies
     - 8 oz softened cream cheese
     - candy melts (white, red, green, orange, yellow and chocolate)
     - mini Reese's
     - Pull-n-peel Twizzlers

Directions:
  1. Start by adding Oreo’s to a food processor and crush.
  2. Add cream cheese and mix well.
  3. Roll into balls and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
  4. Melt candy melts and dip rolled Oreo balls.  Place on wax paper and refrigerate 20-30 minutes.
  5. Add a mini reese’s to the top of each ball.
  6. Make loops out of Twizzlers.  Fix the loops to the mini reese’s with candy melts for the Ornament truffles.
  7. For the snowman truffles, draw a face with the melted candy melts.
  8. Let set and serve.
